Delhi - Shimla - Anandpur Sahib - Pragpur - Dharamsala - Amritsar - Delhi

Himachal Pradesh is blessed with some of the most spectacular landscapes, lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, flower bedecked meadows, quiet little resorts and hamlets, beautiful temples and monasteries steeped in time. The beautiful natural landscapes and the hilly regions of Himachal attract tourists all through the year.

Day 01

Delhi
Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 02

Delhi
Morning set out on a guided tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, built in the Mughal era, it is one of the largest and best known mosques in India. Enjoy rickshaw ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk Bazaar. Also visit Raj Ghat — the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit Humayun's Tomb. Drive past Safdarjang Tomb and visit Qutab Minar, 72 meters high, tallest brick minaret in the world. Get close to the divinity at the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Drive past the Embassy area and visit Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's Palace), India Gate and the Parliament building. Overnight. Evening transfer to railway station to board your train to Kalka.

Day 03

To Shimla
Arrive Kalka. Board the famous toy train — 'Shivalik Express' on your wonderful journey to Shimla. This ride will give you an awe-inspiring view of the snow covered Himalayan peaks, pine and deodar forests. On reaching Shimla transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 04

Shimla
Set out for a full day sightseeing of Shimla. Nestled amidst the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains, Shimla offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Rest of the day at leisure to explore some of the famous tourist attractions. Overnight.

Day 05

To Anandpur Sahib
Morning drive to Anandpur Sahib. Situated on the left bank of the river Sutlej Anandpur Sahib is one of the sacred places of Sikhs. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 06

To Pragpur
Morning proceed for Pragpur, a small hamlet located at an elevation of 1800 ft. above sea level in the Kangra valley. On arrival transfer to hotel for 02 nights stay.

Day 07

Pragpur
Set out on a tour of Pragpur, a famous Heritage Village set amidst the beautiful valley of Himachal Pradesh. This is the perfect place to witness traditional handicrafts of Himachal. Overnight.

Day 08

To Dharamsala
Morning proceed for Dharamsala. Check-in at hotel for 02 nights. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 09

Dharamsala
Morning visit the residence of Noble Laureate 'Dalai Lama' and the Norbulingka Institute- centre for Buddhist teaching, housing over a thousand painted images. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

Day 10

To Amritsar
Morning drive down to Amritsar. Check-in at hotel for 02 nights. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 11

Amritsar
Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Amritsar, which includes the Golden Temple and the Jallianwala Bagh. Enjoy an evening visit to Wagah border crossing between India and Pakistan to witness the evening grandeur — "Beating the Retreat" ceremony.

Day 12

To Delhi
Early morning transfer to the station to board Shatabdi Express on an air-conditioned executive chair car for Delhi. Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to International airport for your onward departure.
