Brochures

At Indus Discoveries we pride ourselves on providing our clients with tailor-made holidays that go beyond the ordinary. We believe that exploring India isn't just about visiting famous monuments and other tourist attractions. It's about connecting with the heart and soul of the country through its diverse communities and authentic meaningful engagement. We emphasise this in our thoughtfully designed itineraries so that travellers can be immersed in slices of local life, thereby bridging the cultural gap and bringing about transformation. Whether it's cuisine, heritage or handicrafts we give our clients the opportunity to discover India, and its many hidden gems, differently.

Our office in Srinagar specialises in travel throughout Kashmir and Ladakh. It is staffed by locals who have detailed first-hand knowledge of these remarkable far-off Himalayan regions, including their unique customs and geography. We invite you to download and browse through our brochures to learn more about the regions and possible activities.

Our Heritage Trails Srinagar Kashmir brochure contains a selection of specially curated walks to gain a deeper understanding of the city and its eclectic heritage - Medival, Mughal, Sufi, and Colonial. The brochure also includes a trail that visits traditional artisans, and boat ride along the historic Jhelum riverfront.

Our Kashmir and Ladakh brochure focuses on the legacy of the legendary Silk Road trade route, linking Central Asia to the Indian Subcontinent. It covers destinations that lay along the southern branch of the route, things to do around Leh, Buddhist monasteries, tribes, remote valleys, alpine meadows and glaciers, treks, golfing and snow skiing.

Those who are keen to get off-the-beaten-track can follow in the footsteps of Sir Aurel Stein to the pristine meadow near Srinagar where he stayed and wrote up the findings of his expeditions along the Silk Road in the early 20th century.
