Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably a Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or relevant field with an excellent command on spoken and written English.

Job Description / Responsibilities
  • Develop itinerary proposals & costs for tailor-made holidays in India, Nepal, Bhutan.
  • Work independently on the operational aspects of the booking, handling reservations, and rate negotiation.
  • Ensure itinerary execution including monitoring changes until completion of the holiday.
  • Be active in resolving and hurdles in the itinerary and work creatively to resolve them beforehand.
  • Work directly with hotel decision makers in supply chain to obtain competitive prices.
  • Work coherently and collaboratively with different internal and external stakeholders
Desired profile of the candidate
  • You should have at least 03 to 05 years' experience in inbound tour operations with a tourism qualification.
  • Have good communication skills and passion for learning about the culture and heritage of our country which you can share with the clients.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Process and manage bookings to hotels/airlines/train/Safaris.
  • Well-versed in designing of itineraries and costing.
  • Whenever necessary, negotiate for better rates with hotels for specific movements.
  • Monitor day-to-day quotes to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet targeted timelines.
  • Actively engage in briefing and debriefing from the operator for each tour.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of events including accounting, documentation, and coordinate with the Clients while they are on tour.
  • Maintain a close cordial relationship with all service providers.
  • Coordinate & follow up with: Respective market manager, product, and R&D.
