The Kashmir Valley is a paradise for skiers. Skiing in Kashmir is an experience that will soothe your soul. The mountains are majestic and awe-inspiring, and they remind us that we are all small in the grand scheme of things. The skiing season begins in December and lasts until April. The Kashmir Valley has many ski slopes, some located at altitudes up to 10,000 feet above sea level. The main ski resorts in Kashmir are Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam.
The weather in Kashmir is pleasant during the winter months, but it can be very cold at times. The snowfall is heavy during this season and makes for excellent skiing conditions.
