Arrival Delhi and be welcomed at the airport. You will be driven to a hotel to use the lobby facilities. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the railway station to board the award-winning Palace on Wheels.

You will be welcomed in traditional Indian style with marigold garlands and authentic music. Relax, have a drink at the bar or tour the palatial train, your home for the next seven nights.

You will arrive at Sawai Madhopur early in the morning and proceed for a thrilling jungle safari to Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s finest tiger reserves. There are excellent chances to spot one of these magnificent animals. Other wildlife include leopards, jackal and hyenas. You will head back to the train for a refreshing breakfast and sumptuous lunch while the train moves to its next destination, Chittorgarh.

You will visit the Chittorgarh Fort, a massive citadel built in the 7th century, dotted with beautiful temples and intricate monuments. An evening sound and light show, accompanied with steaming tea, will make for a sublime dusk.

In the morning, you will head out for a tour of the imposing Jaisalmer Fort, the crowning glory of the city. After lunch in the city, you will visit the Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy a camel ride and sunset tea. After dinner, enjoy a cultural show in the enchanting setting of the undulating desert with a glass of wine.

In the early morning visit the world famed Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy breakfast in a jungle lodge. Continue to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri, the Emperor Akbar’s magnificent sand stone city. In Agra, you will visit what the world dreams of – the inimitable and iconic Taj Mahal. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Sound and Light show to culminate your Indian love story. After your last dinner on the train, retire to your cabin as your train heads home to Delhi.
